We Renew Our Partnership with UniBo Motorsport
From the 2025 Unveiling to the racing season: a partnership journey that has strengthened innovation and results.
As a technology sponsor, once again this year we will attend the unveiling event of the UniBo Motorsport prototypes that will compete in the current racing season.
The team, made up of more than 200 students from different faculties, will present the new vehicles that will compete in Formula SAE and MotoStudent events:
- Hybrid car – GENESI: the first hybrid prototype
- Electric car – Athena: the electric prototype
- Electric motorcycle – Vega: the electric motorcycle prototype
How does the technology sponsorship work?
We are pleased to be part of this innovative university project, contributing our know-how and solutions:
316L stainless steel fittings – X2000 and X1000 Series (push-on): ideal for industrial applications requiring safe solutions resistant to high operating temperatures, corrosion, and contamination. Our stainless steel fittings are the ideal solution for the battery cooling system of Athena.
ISO 6432 cylinders with self-cushioning – Series 23: thanks to a patented system, these cylinders automatically adjust cushioning to always achieve optimal deceleration. Throughout the self-cushioning phase, cylinder movement is smooth and bounce-free, reducing vibration and noise while ensuring greater reliability and consistent performance over time. These cylinders enable the movement of the gearbox–clutch system of the internal combustion engine with battery integration in Genesi.
Technopolymer fittings for water cooling – GRIPFIT 7000 Fluidics Series: the push-in fittings of the GRIPfit 7000 Fluidics Series allow efficient fluid flow management in cooling systems. This material resists water absorption, temperature variations, and the main chemical substances contained in coolants. In addition, it ensures consistent dimensional stability in contact with different fluids, making it ideal for the braking system of Genesi. The braking system also includes the Series 2000 nickel-plated brass fittings and the Series 3 for manual brake valve actuation.
Flow regulation valve – RFU Series: the bidirectional air flow control valve is used on Genesi to enable an even more efficient gearbox system
