Redefining American Manufacturing

On Thursday, July 21, we were proud to welcome guests and representatives from across the full spectrum of American manufacturing to Ingersoll Machine Tools for an inaugural ribbon‑cutting ceremony and guided tour of our facilities, joined by our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahrstrom.

This once‑in‑a‑generation event highlighted the strength of American manufacturing and our shared ability to develop increasingly advanced capabilities to support the future of industry.

INGERSOLL MACHINE TOOLS & CAMOZZI DIGITAL

At Ingersoll Machine Tools, we work closely with our sister company Camozzi Digital to develop state‑of‑the‑art IIoT, Industry 4.0, big data and cloud computing solutions. Together, we aim to improve machine tool performance while reducing operating costs.
To support our customers, we offer two advanced digital platforms:
  • IBNET, which enables the collection and storage of all production data, machine operating conditions, status and operating parameters
  • IBRM, which leverages data from processors and sensors installed in critical machine components to monitor key parameters, working conditions and automation system status, enabling real‑time error detection and prompt user notification
I am extremely proud to be here today. When we bought Ingersoll in 2003, we were already aware of the value of this company and the contributions to manufacturing the institution had made historically. By bringing our global resources together, we have achieved some great things. We have met major technological challenges, including the automated inspection, and wash robots of the Genoa bridge, and the Magellan telescope
