The Innovation Hub

Camozzi Research Center: the vision
We coordinate the Group’s R&D and Intellectual Property, leveraging the ability to identify and experiment with innovative technological trends, incubate their level of maturity and translate them into industrial solutions through applied research.
We wanto to be the national and international reference point of an integrated ecosystem creating a strong network between businesses, universities, centers of excellence, and technological partners, in order to accelerate the development of smart manufacturing.

Bringing research to the factory
Inaugurated in 2023, the Camozzi Research Center is the core of the Camozzi Group’s research and development activities.
It was established with the goal of defining the Group’s short- and long-term technology roadmap, coordinating R&D, and managing intellectual property across all our companies.
Thanks to CRC, we carry out applied industrial research, co-development with partners, scouting of emerging technologies and startups, and open innovation projects in collaboration with the academic and scientific community.

Where research and industry come together
CRC is based in Milan, within the historic Via Rubattino facility—the former production site of Innocenti, where the iconic Mini and Lambretta were once manufactured.
Today, this location hosts state-of-the-art laboratories and machinery for additive and subtractive manufacturing, in an environment designed to integrate research and production.

Industry Driven by Research
While CRC operates across all Camozzi Group facilities, the decision to establish it in such a symbolic industrial site reflects a concrete commitment to bringing research back to the heart of both the factory and the urban fabric—promoting new manufacturing models.
